I recently gave a short presentation on colors that was a lot of fun to put together (especially the artwork). High-level, it is meant to help scientists choose colors for their figures. More specifically, it covers:
- What are primary colors?
 - Common color spaces used.
 - Common pitfalls that arise from working in RGB/CMYK/HSB color spaces.
 - How to maximize contrast (in both brightness and color).
 - Useful tools, including a color picker and a contrast checker.
